HEAT PACK CARE GUIDE

​​​​Warming

• Heat in 20 to 30 second intervals and shake contents

• Check temperature between each interval

• Always test against your wrist before applying to skin

• Heating times will vary depending on your microwave wattage. Start low and build up.

Cold Therapy

• Place the inner pack in a sealed waterproof bag

• Freeze until cool, then use directly from the freezer

​

Essential Oils

• Apply oils to the washable cover only

• Remove cover and heat inner pack only

• When using essential oils or sprays allow the cover to dry fully before use

Washing the Cover

• Handwash or Machine wash on a gentle cold cycle

• Dry in the shade and avoid direct sunlight

• Do not tumble dry

• Warm iron is safe

• Do not dry clean

Inner Pack (Lupin Filling)

• Do NOT wash the inner pack

• Keep dry at all times

• Do not expose pack to moisture or store in a damp place (eg Bathroom)

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and dust

• A fabric pouch or storage container is recommended
